    Beautiful people...

The sun is glinting off the glass on the pavement and
it's warming up after that surprise snowfall a couple
of days back (yes, only in Toronto, people, can you
have 30 degrees C and -5 degrees C in the span of 3
days). Woke up yesterday morning to snow covering my
bike and a nice slap of winter once again. BUT NO
MORE! Mother Nature has promised me that things are
gonna change, and when She says so...well, all you can
    do is just wait.

    Speaking of waiting...*ahem*

Wednesday night coming atchoo once again! Wait no more
for the 'Best Kept Secret' to bring it to you nice n
rough TONIGHT 6-8PM EST on CHRY 105.5 FM (for all you
internet aficianados or people that don't have coat
hanger antennaes at the ready, go directly past 'jail'
and straight to http://www.yorku.ca/chry for live
    streamin glory).

    ®®®®TONIGHT®®®® (cause it's all registered...)

DJs Dalia and Venus pon the solo-yet-together tip,
with nickel bags full of goodies. Prepare yourself
for fine blends ala the 'Best Kept' line of
understanding music: if it's dope, we feel it!
Rinsing hip hop, house, bruk beats, jazz, soul, and
yeah, rock, on the regular. Fine choons on the decks
with jokes on the mic...what else is there to listen
    to? Ya...thought so....

Much love to Rollin Cash who rolled through last week
for schooling all on the ways of a breakbeat warrior.
Doooooope show! So dope that Dal forgot to copy the
playlist...*shaaane shaaaaane shaaaaane in a Phillipe
stylee ala 'Three's Company'* . All goot. For anyone
interested, you can harrass her for a copy by emailing
    back to this address...

As for the jams...forget those jellies (too soft...)

Chicks Dig It continues to rock shit lovely on a
Monday night. Props to those that braved the
brrrr-inducing weather and dropped by for some hot
choons by Soulsistah, Chocolate, Dalia, and Lee Lee
Mishi. Once again an inadvertant late night! But how
can you leave when you're having a great time?
    Ya....thought so...it's hard, non?

You'll definitely need to drop by this coming Monday
April 29th (whaaaaat?!? almost May?!?) for 'Chicks Dig
Fun-Raising'. All proceeds from the night will go
towards the OM music festival this June, particularly
the Boys n Grrls stage presented jointly by
Poundhouse, The Fifth Element, and Chicks Dig It! Dig
deep for whatever you can afford cause there will be
lots of giveaways (including passes for OM!!) and it
all goes towards a great cause. Check the deck
    techniques of DJs Siren (dubbyabstractbiznizz),
    Chocolate vs Freedom (reggaendrumnbass soundclash),
Miss KLC (fine percussive house selections) and
Queensyze (drumnbass breakdowns). All kicks off at
9:30 PM and goes until 2:30 AM at
The Apothecary (340 Adelaide St. W at Peter). Ask the
fine bartender for the joke of the day...

Dalia brings the heavy house biznizz for friends and
friends of friends to a nice warehouse jam this
Saturday night (April 27). Scratch Free and Promise
