Thanks for the mention! Broke & Beat Radio is still online, no plans to quit.
The ruling is fuzzy as a peach and we are gonna keep on until we have a
compelling reason not to. If that time comes, we will find a way around. so
get over to beleza-music.org or brokenbeatradio.com and listen to the current
set, a selection of music from the Beleza! park party we threw this weekend in
West Philly. A showcase of Philly talent, with heavy heavy doses of obscure
jazz, funk, underground hip hop, broken beat, and drum and bass! All of us who
played were all over the place this weekend and every dj wowed me over and over
with some incredible obscure soulful shit I'd never heard. Practically peed my
pants over the sept11 critique which Jolah played in set #2, around 11:40. We
have some seriously soulful, intelligent people out here.
