    Yeah, in a way, having a "vinyl-only" purist attitude is somewhat elitist.
    No, I take that back, VERY elitist. Because, let's face it, the only way
    for an artist to have their tunes on vinyl is 1) To have a record deal or
    2) To pony up the dough to have copies pressed (and it ain't cheap).

    Incidentally, a friend of mine who lives overseas recently told me he
    rocked this massive playing his entire set on Final Scratch, I told this to
    another DJ friend who commented, "Man, he sold out." Then I told him my
    overseas friend had a great response...I also neglected to tell the
    commenting friend that this overseas DJ lives in Indonesia, where vinyl
    isn't exactly easy to come by...So all this vinyl purism is coming from an
    American/European-centric point of view.
