    Greetings,

First some program notes: Next week (Dec. 17th) there will be a
special extended version of the show. FreeFall will begin at 9pm
(following the USF women's basketball game) and carry on until
midnight with what will be the first night of our three-week review
of some of the best music played on the program during 2002. A full
list of the year's top albums, singles and compilations will be
posted on the Web site next week. Parts 2 + 3 of our Best-of-2002
extravaganza will air on both Christmas and New Year's eve, so I hope
you'll be able to tune in from wherever you are, hoist a cup of 'nog
    and partake of the festivities.

Among the new albums featured this week is the gorgeous, chilled-out
"3rd Wave" from Calmstreet, the awesome "Phrenology" from the Roots,
"Atitetoca" - a superb collection of classic Latin jazz that spans a
twenty year period between the '50s through the '70s and several
advance releases from a couple of our favorite labels that are on the
    Q.T. and very hush-hush.....

I hope you'll have a chance to tune in either via your radio or
    online at Live365.com.

    Ciao for now,
    David
