Friends, This has been a very exciting week for Greg and I. We wanted to
thank each and everyone who showed Greg support this past year while
writing his album.
As of 12:00 noon tomorrow Shadow/Instinct Records will receive the final
master of Greg's album Balance.
No more editing. No turning back.
We've shared a few tracks with a hand full of folks we've met via this
list and others. I'm pleased to say that most of those tracks have some
new additions, replacements or modifications. Greg has taken out the
bass-line he wrote on his synthesizer and added the fretless he's been
playing to about half of the album. The synthesized sax in the song
Tease has been replaced with a sax performance by Tony Rize.
Now we sit and wait. I truly hope this album will be enjoyed by others
as much as I've enjoyed watching (listening to) it grow.
I wanted to add: Greg's album has textures and sounds that are all over
the place in each song, ranging from dub, to funk to ambient so for some
this may be a very warm welcome.
Released date is sometime in April
