    1. Amma – On My Own (Landslide mix) – Inspirit Music Oh my gosh!!! Landslide touches down on Inspirit with one of his finest remixes to date (second only to the ‘Betcha’ reworkings). Tim Land goes deep fusing Amma’s super sultry vocals with some sublime 2-step grooves. Mixes too from Andy Caldwell, Kaskade and Spectre!!!

    No release date as yet…

    2. Zero 7 – Waiting Line (Naked Music mix) – Ultimate Dilemma <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/zero7.ram> Beautiful… Naked Music meet Zero 7 hanging about outside the gates of heaven!! Warm basslines, gorgeous vocals, soaring atmospherics all melting onto live, percussive feeling beats. Catch this on a forthcoming Nu De Lune LP sampler.

    3. V/A - Om Lounge Vol. 6 – Om Records <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/phuturistix.ram> The latest offering in Om’s excellent ‘Lounge’ series featuring the very best in chillout, mid-tempo grooves and somic excellence.Tracks from Soulstice, Dzihan & Kamien, Bartholomaus & Raabenstein and Block 16. Also making its first compilation appearance Inspirit Music’s very own The Beard - Someday (Phuturistix mix).

    4. Horsepower Productions – Fist Of Fury – Tempa <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/TEMPA005.ram> Fifth release on Tempa, proving the quality and consistency of this forward thinking label. Cutting-edge, 2-step beats, hints of dub and a real appeal for purveyors of quality new music. Tempa continue to forge ahead.

    5. Soul Sista – Only You (Sequel mix) – Inspirit Music <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/sequelmix.ram> This quality remix makes a reappearance on the charts. Been finished for some time but destined to rear its head in 2002 amidst plays from Europe’s finest such as Jazzanova. For more info - email…

    6. Jazzanova – That Night / Days To Come – JCR <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/jazzanova.mp3> Finally… it was back in Easter 2001 when I managed to catch this on the radio… “haven’t felt the same since that evening”… the minidisc has been permanently glued in the player ever since. I’m sure you’ve all heard it – that night, night, night, night! Second week in the charts.

    7. V/A – Sounds Of Om 3rd Edition (mixed by Kaskade) – Om Records <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/OM091.ram> Beautiful deep house grooves from King Kooba, Andy Caldwell, Soulstice and a nice little number from Afro Mystik amongst others. All in the mix from Kaskade who is set to make two appearance, both house and 2-step on Inspirit this year. Oooh 2002, just can’t wait… a promising year for Kaskade. It just keeps getting better and better.

    8. Attaboy – New World (Swag mix) – Toko <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/swag.ram> Last time round it was the Ian Pooley mixes that made this page… until I heard the Swag mix. Awesome deep house, check it out.

    9. Agent K – Ladies (Maddslinky mix) – Laws Of Motion <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/agentk.ram> Dave Jones a.k.a Maddslinky / Phuturistix / Zed Bias does it yet again. Beautiful arrangements, skippy 2-step beats and just enough naughtiness underneath. It doesn’t get much better than this. Second week in the charts.

    10. Rebeat – Organic Exploits - Pivotal <http://www.inspiritmusic.com/sounds/charts/rebeat.ram> I think many people may have overlooked this release. If you don’t have it track it down… this shit is hot!!! More fine music from Helsinki, there must be something in the water. I’m definitely gonna have to travel to the beautiful place that is Finland very soon. The tracks in question include some gorgeous double bass driven house with touches of jazz and plenty of atmospherics. Lets hope to see more of Rebeat in the future.

Best of the rest… Green Belt – Magic Band EP - Peng S.U.M.O – Down With The Sumos - Seasons
