Big thanks to everyone who emailed or called with
their picks for the year. Such tough decisions this
year. I could of easily done 4 best of shows, with
the amount of great music that came out last year.
Hopefully the best of 2002 will be just as
powerpacked. On the party front, Movement is
presenting the Funky 16 Corners release party
featuring Stone Throw's DJ Egon on January 25th at
Roxy Blu. Tickets are now available at the regular
spots. This week Shifting Gears welcomes local
underground DJ Mike Cordeiro alongside yours truly and
DJ Nav. Email back for guest list. Next week
promises to be incredible, with the return of the
amazing Osunlade, along with a special performance
from Erro (Don't Change). Do not miss out! Until
next week, keep your feet firmly planted on that
    Higher Ground! JP
