I hope this is not too far off topic, but i feel this is a very
progressive list and I was disappointed to here of this action by ebay.

This is an excerpt of a forward sent by a reputable ebay seller from whom
    I've purchased albums.

I ask everyone on this list to please express your feelings on this
    matter to ebay directly.

    >eBay temporarily suspended my account. The reason this occurred is because
    >many of the music items that I was selling were listed as promotional. A
    >certain large record company reported a few of my items as violating
    >copyright of their company (VeRO violation: selling promos) and I was

    >you will start seeing less and less new promotional music on eBay. I know
    >many of you collect the DJ only promotional releases or need to get a hold of
    >these releases for your DJing gigs. I wanted to bring this 'new trend' from
    >the record companies to your attention.
