events to announce. First of all, the long awaited return of the
Wednesday Higher Ground Sessions kicks off in a couple of weeks at Alto
Basso on College St. DJ Stuart joins me for a weekly doe of funk, jazz
and whatever else suits the mood. Secondly, as requested, Footprints
returns for a second night of jazzdance business at the Rivoli on July
12th with DJ Stuart, Jon Sikich and myself. Movement returns on July
5th with the return of legendary jazz DJ Patrick Forge and last but not
least Shifting Gears welcomes the return of Osunlade on July 13th. A
truly amazing month of July, and there’s more to come. Until next week,
keep your feet firmly planted on that Higher Ground! JP
