('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) I was lucky enough recently to come across an advance of the re-mixed release and... I have to say, It's quite nice. Definitely the standout track, the MAW re-working of See Line Woman, is just slammin'! It's the longest track on the disc clocking in at a little over 10 minutes; I think the original was a just under 3.. Strange Fruit, which you mentioned earlier, is remixed by Tricky. Another highlight is the Sarah Vaughan/UFO Summertime -- fantastic track.

The only one I'm not really feeling yet is the Richard Dorfmester re-working of Willie Bobo's Spanish Grease. Maybe it's just me, but I was a a bit disappointed with this track... After reading the lineup, at first I thought this might be the best track.

    read all about it here:

Speaking of Straight No Chaser.... I read their recent positive review of of the Miles Davis - In a Silent session box. i nearly freaked.. how could this slip by me? this is one of my favorite's.

Has anyone else heard this? what's it like?
