    Soul-Patrol.Net Radio TOP 25 FOR 3/2002:
    http://www.soul-patrol.net/
    -----------------------------------

Has grown by leaps and bounds over the past year.
At this time a year ago, we had less than 10 show there.
Now we have over 70 shows, streamed (not downloaded) Via RealAudio (in mono)!
In this age of internet music bootlegging & piracy, we have managed to create this as a resource for you to enjoy and even more importantly for your children to learn from...

    ***WITHOUT VIOLATING ANY COPYWRITE LAWS***

    That's correct....
In each case we have what I would consider to be "due dilligence", by going to the trouble of obtaining WRITTEN PERMISSION of the artist and/or copywrite holder of the music being streamed.

We have also gone the additional "yard" of using the "low quality" version of RealAudio, to insure that just in case someone does figure out a way to download the music, that they will get something less than "CD QUALITY".

This is all very much in keeping with Soul-Patrol's overall mission of:
    * The documentation and the advancement of Black Music/Culture
    * Fighting for the Artist and preserving the lagacy they have created
    * Creating a platform where Black children can learn about their own culture

Of course Soul-Patrol.net Radio, isn't only about music.
In fact most programs aren't strictly about music. The wonderful folks who produce the programs also provide for you historical context/information about the music and the artists that....

***YOU CAN'T GET ANY PLACE ELSE***

My view is that people who listen to Soul-Patrol.Net Radio also share these feelings.
The list following list was compiled from our server logs and I think that when viewed as a whole, is quite represenative of what our site is all about.
    * Some of the music is among the most famous music ever produced in the history of Black music
    * Some of the music is totally unknown and is quite literally "hot off of the press"
    * Some of it is music that was recorded LIVE
    * Some of it historic spoken word from artists & personalities who are almost NEVER heard from

Anyhow, here are the top 25 shows that yall have been listening to in the month of March.
And just in case there are one or two shows here that you haven't heard yet, the links contained in the listing work, so go ahead and feel free to check out something that you may have missed!
