I'm actually doing some work...or trying to. I'm attempting to meet a
deadline, but need another diversion for now. :-)

Just wanted to give the listers heads-up on some goodies.

Codek has blessed me with "Organic Grooves 4," which arrived in the mail
yesterday. I've read from several listers in recent days (maybe last
week?) about how great it was, and I too will put my stamp of approval
on this great new release. It's a nice combination of
    electronic-meets-organic sounds.

Also in the mail today, a forthcoming compilation from the French label
Versatile. First it was I:Cube with the remix album, and now it's both
I:Cube and Gilb'r...Chateau Flight, of course. I knew that they were
good, but I'm really surprised by how good their remixes are. The album,
"Chateau Flight (Remixent)," covers remixes done by the duo over a
four-year period (including two from this year). It won't be out until
June 2, but when it does come out this should be a good edition to your
library if you are down with CF.

Another goody from today's mail was from Omoa Music in Detroit. I
haven't heard of Ayro until I've read in a few places that Truby,
Jazzanova, Gilles, and others were really into this artist. The label
was gracious enough to send me a copy and he is the real deal. It's a
mixture of silky soul vocals mixed with broken beats, future soul, and
other flavors. The track "Let This Love" has a Jazzanova-type sound to
it in terms of its multilayered groove. Omoa has been around for a
little over a year (though I've just discovered it), and it's good that
the "hometown" folks can do it as good as our overseas counterparts.

After Organic Grooves is over, I will check out the full-length from
Greg Long. I saw some feedback on the list, so I'll see what becomes of
    it.

As always, I look forward to any treasures that you both find and share
(as I would hope you'd find the info here useful). Have a great week!

    V.
