The problem is that unlike other lists, you don't get [acid-jazz] automatically added to the subject line, so it's difficult for anyone like me who is using "rules" (as they're called in Outlook Express) to automatically sort in-coming e-mail into appropriate folders. The only rule that works for this list then is to sort everything where either the To: or Cc: lines contain acid-jazz@ucsd.edu. Now when you send out your playlist with the address in the Bcc: line then there is no way for Outlook to see it and sort it into the correct folder, and instead it comes straight into the main Inbox folder, and sometimes I even wonder why the heck you're sending me the playlist, until I remember that this is just another acid-jazz message that Outlook can't sort properly because of the hidden address. Anyway I couldn't expect anyone to know this until now that it has been fully explained, so maybe you can do us a favor from now on and put acid-jazz@ucsd.edu in the To: or Cc: line. You can still hide all the other recipients in Bcc:.

Please try to understand that I am not sending anything to you personally, I am sending my playlist to the entire list, some of whom like to get it. Those people who don't want it just delete it as you can do. If you want to unsubscribe yourself then you need to unsubscribe from the entire list. If nobody wanted my playlists (or the others that are posted here!) then I wouls top sending them to the list as a whole but I am unable to unsubscribe an individual person, you have to do that yourself. I apologize for that but that is just the way it is!
