This Friday, Nov. 29, the MGA will help u dance off your holiday excess at
The Temple Bar, 1026 W. Wilshire, in Santa Monica.

Also on the bill that night, one of the best performers you'll ever see in
any genre at any venue, MC Medusa w. her band Feline Science. I personally
saw her rock the polo grounds with a stunning set at Coachella in 2001, and
she has the combination of lyrics, delivery, SINGING, and stage presence
that can turn out any crowd, any size, any time. (www.onebadsista.com)

It will be an honor for the MGA to warm y'all up for her, and that we will
do with a heavy jazz funk lineup including some of the finest musicians in
the city. We'll have the legendary Herman Matthews (Tower of Power) on
drums... (www.hermanmatthews.com), and Andy Cleaves (Karl Denson) on the
horn (www.andycleaves.com), as well as the amazing Stewart Killion of Orgone
on percussion (www.orgonemusic.com), DJ Theory of the Open Minds on the 1's
and 2's, plus Joe Swafford on Bass, and as always, the superhot duo of Kelli
    and Kia on the mics....

Downbeat is EARLY! 9 pm.... Hope you can make it... Stop by and say hi!
