One day, Fertile Ground will come to Vancouver and I will _so_ be
    there...

The Julie Dexter album is terrific, but it's not gotten a lot of
attention - I only discovered that it was out by accident. I'd been
playing the "Peace Of Mind" EP a lot, and the album definitely more
than lives up to my expectations. I can see me playing this one for a
    long while to come.

I really am all over the Quite Sane album though - which sort of
surprised me as I already had the majority of the tracks on MP3 for
well over a year. But 128K MP3 does not do this stuff justice. The
production on this album is super-super-tight. Anthony Tidd & Sean
Rickman are totally on fire on every track. And for a band who whose
biggest influence is probably Steve Coleman, some of these tunes are
    pretty damn catchy.

It is funny how all three albums have one degree of separation though
(Anthony Tidd & some former Quite Saners appear on Julie Dexter's
album, Julie is on Fertile Ground's, Fertile Ground are on Julie's
    etc... :)
