Anyone interested in checking out the KJM should seek out the Japanese
version with the Bebel track, or get the EP with that track separately, as
it's much better than the rest of the LP: a lovely bossa that accelerates
rather sublimely in a Chateau Flight sort of mode (but better). As for the
rest of the album, the tracks are great but the beats are a little weak.

The remixes should definitely be worth checking, especially the Quantic and
Blaze mixes (two 12"s with mixes of "Mind Expansions" and "Brightness of
These Days" are forthcoming on Compost).

Saw KJM in LA earlier this month and they offered a mighty mighty set.
Their Crossbreed DJ comps are essential, for my money even more so than
Spirit of the Sun. Dusty Groove has them as (unfortunately pricey) Japanese
imports, but I think they've been out of stock for quite a while.

    Respect,

    Brian
