i've heard garth trinidad play one of their tracks--featuring carleen
andersen on vocals--on chocolate city a few times. unfortunately it
didn't strike me as anything special, but it may just be a matter of
taste.
speaking of new material, i'm curious to hear opinions on the bobby hughes
combination album. i'm looking forward to picking up mr. scruff's
"trouser jazz" this week--caught his gig here in LA last weekend, and he
spun some mighty tasty choons!
