    Yeah, this is starting to happen to mine, and I noticed just after I bought a
    pair as a gift for someone. =( It hasn't hurt the performance yet, and I'm
    inventing schemes to fix it, but now that mine is cracking I keep hearing the
    same thing from other people. Live and learn. I'm also very careful with my
    stuff.
