    Greetings,

I just returned from seeing "Return Of The King" - the final chapter
in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy and one that is nearly 3.5 hours
long. It's a fine film with epic battle scenes, lots of creepy
creatures (including the mother of all spiders), a few tear-jerking
scenes and a very likeable cast. For maximum enjoyment, you might
want to screen the extended versions of the first two movies before
catching this one. Either way, it's highly recommended.

So it's late and I'll be brief:

Soul - one genre, two albums:
Musiq: Soulstar - Disc #3 from this Philly native representz old
school flava (a la Donny Hathaway), but keeps it modern too. Musiq
has a great voice and the songs don't smack of crass commercialism
like so many of his peers. This would make a great stocking stuffer -
    take it from Santa.

Amp Fiddler: Waltz Of A Ghetto Fly - long-awaited full-length from
Detroit's new big thing riffs on Sly Stone among others, always
keeping the groove liquid and funky. Most of the singles are
included, so here's your chance if you didn't get them first time
around. Santa likes this one too.

    and....
Dani Siciliano : Like - the debut album from Matthew Herbert's
partner and vocalist is predictably glitchy in parts and edgy
throughout, with some fascinating tunes and arrangements (one reminds
me of the Flying Lizards). Definitely one for the headz, it's due out
sometime after the first of the year.

Finally, a big thanks to all of you who listen on Live365. Over 300
of you have made FreeFall's broadband stream a preset on your online
tuner for instant access to the program archives.

Until next week, ciao for now!
    David
