Trama Records (Brazil), Sambaloco (Brazil) and The Agency presents THE most exciting project for dance music in 2003…

A succession of tours from the vibrant and refreshing stable of Brazil’s best dance producers come to Europe to satisfy the over whelming demand for modern latin music. Starting with….

SAMBALOCO – BRAZILIAN DRUM N BASS CLASSICS

Quite simply, Trama Records is the reason behind the global popularity of Brazilian Drum n Bass. Marky, Patife, XRS and Drumagick were all presented to the world via Sambaloco, Trama Records dance imprint – now the biggest independent record label in South America. This album and supporting live tour celebrates the scene’s superstars, featuring all the tracks that represent the scene to date, from the seminal Sambassim by Fernando Porto to Easyboom, Drumagicks’ recent classic.

THIS TOUR FEATURES WIDE RANGING PUBLICITY AND SUCH CURRENTLY POPULAR ACTS THAT IT SHOULD VIRTUALLY GUARANTEE FULL HOUSES AT EVERY SHOW….

    PEFORMERS

Singer Fernando Porto who wrote Sambassim, is the voice of Brazillian Drum n Bass. Patife’s remix of this track started the whole scene. Her self titled solo album has already sold in excess of 100 000 copies in Brazil alone and is set for release in Europe in September 2003.

Also, vocalist Paticia Marx, will join the tour for come dates. This child star in Brazil has a million record sales under her belt to date. Her diversity of style is exemplified by her work on 4 Hero’s Creating Patterns LP last year and shows her embrace of European electronic and nu jazz scene. A massive star and an even bigger talent.

Manning the decks before and after the live vocal P.A’s will be Mad Zoo, widely acclaimed as the foremost drum n bass producer in Brazil. Production partner to Patife in the 90’s when the sounding was bubbling on the underground. The creative force behind the partnership, Mad Zoo produced 3 of the 4 remixes on the Brazil E.P on V Recordings. His own album project “Bad Innosense” featured these tracks as well. A very talented DJ and producer who has written his own pages in the history of dance music.
