    He's really hot! Completely off beat DJ! Spinning dance floor Brazil as good as it gets.

            New Programmes on Radio Magnetic

            Radio Magnetic is bounding into its third year of broadcasting with new features on the website and additional shows in the already rich and vibrant schedule. Radio Magnetic has established itself as one of the leading Internet broadcasts in the UK. Our new plans will ensure that this base is built upon, guaranteeing a superior quality of service for our ever-growing listener base.

            Continuing our commitment to the Scottish dance music scene, we are expanding our repertoire north east to include Aberdeen. Additional shows will be provided by Kia-Aura, Jungle Nation and The Soulcialists.

            Kia-Aura
            Kia-Aura have fortified their reputation in the city as the pioneers of the house and techno with the bi-weekly residency, Electrofunkdiscoteque. The nights has attracted the likes of Derrick Carter, DJ Paul Woolford and Ewan Pearson to compliment the three residents.

            Jungle Nation
            One of Scotland's longest running Drum n Bass clubs makes a welcome addition to the Radio Magnetic schedule. DJ Tez and Davy ,joined by MC Bass Monkey, continue to keep the Aberdeen vibrating with the tough beats and even tougher guests.

            The Soulcialists
            Known for the vast knowledge of rare funk and the freshest cuts, The Soucialists bring a classic slice of funk with a heap of hip hop and breaks mashed up with slices of 80s rock and electro soul.

            New Website features

            Radio Magnetic is reaching up to 150,000 listeners a month. To match the demand we are developing the content aspects of the website to provide the user with a richer experience. A new forum has been developed with interactive features, our popular archive section will now include all our various club broadcasts and specialist mixes that have been acquired from over two years of outside broadcasts.

            Highlights include recordings and broadcasts from the likes of Pressure, SubCulture, Manga, Freak Menoovers, K7 Presents, Haptic, Scratch, Underground Soul'ushn, Homeless, Bebado, LiveVevil and many more besides.

            Radio Magnetic at Sonar

            Radio Magnetic is proud to announce its presence at the prestigious SONAR festival in Barcelona on Thursday 12 June. The station has been invited by Starfish Records to take part in their monthly club night, Homeless, a night that has become renowned for its house rhythms, funky grooves, jazzy elegance and Latin flavours. The night is hosted by a mixture of top name DJs and live music jams from bands such as Stigmato Inc and The Solar Sides Experience.

            Starfish Records is an up and coming label committed to Latin infused house music. The night will comprise of guests from PIAS Records including Mocky and Louie Austen. Louie Austen recently reinvented himself, from his days as a crooner singing Sinatra tracks, with his collaboration with Peaches with their track 'Grab my Shaft'.

            Radio Magnetic will be represented by Dougal Perman and Tiff Peaches who present Magnetism and Sub Tropic respectively on the station. Expect house with an electronic kick, a Latin twist and some Radio Magnetic classics to demonstrate the nature and diversity of the station. It all takes place on Thursday 12th June so its a great way to kick off the SONAR festival and get warmed up for the weekend in style!
