    >>Duptribe - s/t EP -- I know nothing about these guys but this stuff is
fantastic. dubby dancehall inflected with breaks. >>super sense of
space and timing on it all. the sound of hot, hazy days.

I really do love this record as well. It's great for in home listening
as well as the dancefloor. Rino Spadavecchia who is part of Dublex Inc.
on Pulver worked on this release.

    >>Fort Knox Foundations EP -- gotta give props to christina and the
citrona crew for repping this ep for months ... and >>they weren't lyin.
hot new music from thunderball under a number of aliases. gotta love
    it.

    Indeed.
I have to say this with the highest amount of respect I can give anyone
in this industry right now. Sid and Steve aka Fort Knox Five aka
Thunderball are some of the best and it seems overlooked producers that
I know. This is something both Greg and I agree on together, hence us
turning to them for a remix we just knew would be a hit.
I think there is sometimes too much hype verses substance floating
around artists that real gems such as these guys get lost in the
shuffle. We became an instant fan of theirs after hearing "Real Audio"
clips of Scorpio Rising the day before its release. The overall
production and composition of their music is air tight. Even if one may
not care for their style, though I love most of it, the next time you
hear one of their tracks, pay close attention to their transitions, some
which are simple other which are quite complex and their lead in parts
such as drum fills or cymbals in reverse. All the details are there that
make a very catchy yet sophisticated track. I actually have quite a few
tunes they've yet to release on vinyl that I feel are even better then
this current release, which is obviously hot. With that said, I'd keep a
very close eye on their new label "Fort Knox." You can order their new
    stuff at Groove Distribution.
-Greg and I wish them all the success they very well deserve.

    -Christina
