    Different Spaces EP - Flowriders - 4Lux
    The Netherlands

Fresh from receiving the phat Gerd remix of the tune "Different Spaces"
comes the forthcoming EP from Amsterdam-based Flowriders. The original
version of the title track kicks everything off, and it's a nice slice
of jazz, grooves, and some trippy effects that raises the cool factor a
few notches. And for good measure, solid vocals. Then comes the Gerd mix
where the beats are heavier, and the groove bouncier with some dope bass
work. The icing is on the cake with NY's Michelle Davis doing the
heartfelt singing to terrific effect. Then things get harder, as Bugz
members Alex & Kaidi do their West London thang including a deeper
bassline and those syncopated drums of delight that makes broken beat
what it is. The last track, "Writers on a Flow," is another original
tune from the Flowriders and it gets tight and funky inna hip-hop style.
Not sure who the rapper is. He, the background vocals, and the music
blend together quite finely. 4Lux keeps the quality pressure moving and
    grooving. http://www.urbanlandscapesshow.com/reviews2.php?reviewvar=10

    Jamie "Jimpster" (Freerange UK):

"Another strong and original release to please all jazz heads. Great
    Stuff!"

    Jay "Spacek" Scarlett:

"Like the Gerd mix with those nice key changes. Other mixes are cool
    too!"

    Andrew Jarvis (Ubiquity Records, USA):

"Like the Alex P. remix a lot. Have a lot of DJ gigs coming up (incl
w/Quantic and Truby Trio) so plenty of opportunities to DJ w/the
    tracks."

    Matthew K.:

"The Flowriders are a new signing to 4 Lux and the 2 originals on offer
here show some VERY promising results. Gerd goes for more of a listening
experience, although I play it in my Firebird sets. Once again the Alex
    P. mix is killer. Watch it blow up."

    Jon "Cedar" Schorah (Good Looking):

"Great stuff, good beats & lucious chords - hits the spot!"

    Zukie173:

"Dancefloor Bizniz! Played in Germany - Satisfaction everywhere!"

    Ash @ Piccadilly Records Manchester:

"Really impressed with the new 4Lux stuff - should do really well in
Piccadilly as usual! The Flowriders disc is just pure quality nu jazz
through and through (exactly what we're selling loads of at the
    moment!)..."

    Simon Harrison:

"I love Gerd's mix. Phountzi also does a nice mix. Tho what's caught my
ears are the 2 originals. Lovely production + great vocals!"

    Thomas Francke (Commusication Radioshow, Germany):

"Love the originals & the Gerd killer-remix at prime time. And again the
gerd remixes let us see into the future of modern club music. big
    respect!!!"

    Velanche Steward (Urban Landscapes USA):

"Nice & soulful originals from the band; "Different Spaces" is aptly
titled cuz it sounds rather spaced-out (inna good way, mind you); course
I dig the Gerd mix alot (slammin' deep-groover). Writers on the Flow is
melodic and trippy; can't wait to hear more from them"

    Ben-G (Right-on FM, France):

"Gerd remix is awesome! Alex Phountzi's remix is good too. Writers on
the flow is a very nice hip hop track with great vocals. Full Support!"

    Jun Matsuoka (Jazzanthrope/Plein Gaz Prod.):

"Excellent remixes by Alex Phountzi & Gerd. And the boogie hip hop tune
writers on the flow is massive too!"

    Fabrizio Carrer (Irma Records USA):

"Gerd & Alex Phountzi remixes are off the hook!"
