Hey all, a quick update from the Beleza/Broke & Beat Radio crew in Philly.
New Broke&Beat Radio set
========================
An uplifting new set is posted on beleza-music.org/brokenbeatradio.com from 99,
recorded live last Sunday at the 6th Annual WKDU Electronic Music Marathon.
The event features an entire weekend Philly's best DJing for charity. This
year's proceeds go to the Village of Arts and Humanities, an org working to
revitalize North Philly by greening abandoned lots, teaching classes, and being
a good community presence. They make a difference you can feel in urban life.

Jogando Capoeira! This Sunday
=============================
Not strictly music, but i know so many of you will be into this. This Sunday is
ASCAB Capoeira's Batizado, a huge celebration and graduation/"baptism" ceremony.
We have upwards of 30 guests at master level and just below joining us as we
graduate to our next cords. Yours truly is getting my very first belt, green!
A couple weeks ago I got my nickname, Dejota. Fitting, huh? In addition to
incredible playing from beginner to master level, there will be Samba, Maculele,
and who knows what else. Starts at 1pm (don't expect to stay for the whole
thing, we'll probably go until 6 or 7 or until we pass out) at the Arch Building

The Hydra Rises Again
======================
The legend of the Hydra goes that for each snakey head that you lob off, 2 grow
in its place....BWWWAHAHAHAHA! The next episode in the ongoing saga of Jolah,
Koji, Argo and 99 and their swirling maelstrom of syncopated sourcery happens
