    HARP_BIO:

Harp started his deejay career at the age of 15 while
maintaining a radio show on KRVM91.9fm Eugene, Oregon.
He has been a deejay shaping the sound of break beats
for several years. Heavily influenced by early
hardcore hip-hop (i.e. Public Enemy, BDP) and
industrial/punk rock (Skinny Puppy, Ministry, and
NoFX) in the 80's and then onto techno in the 90's
[Orbital, Jeff Mills and Black Dog
    Productions(Plaid)].

As promoter and resident of 'Absolut Jungle’,
Portland's first weekly Drum & Bass club night which
started in 1996, Harp was the initial force which
helped start the Drum and Bass movement in Portland.
Currently his focus has been on music production.
Recently releasing and producing material for
Stereosystem Recordings. The first release to appear
    is ‘Sherpa’/ ‘Starlight’.

He has been busy for the past 10 years within the Drum
and Bass community worldwide. Most recently performing
at Databass, Junglist Federation, Proper, Substance,
Frequency and Breakdown while performing alongside:
R.A.W., Klute, Pieter K., John Tejada, Mok and Rusta.

Harp hosted “KOROSION” radio on KUCI88.9fm Irvine, CA,
from 2000 to 2002. Which brought Stakka, Tech Itch,
Decoder, Elements of Noise, Rob Playford, Dom and
Roland, Usual Suspects and various local talent from
California. For several archive sample DJ mixes you
may go to the Swope Transmissions website.

    SIMES_BIO:

Simes has been djing and producing drum and bass music
since 1998. He and DJ Syntax started a drum and bass
monthly called Frequency, which brought the
international talents of Hive, Subcode, Flinch, and
    many others.

His history of over 15 years of studying drums,
rudiments, and site reading have helped him to develop
unprecedented production skills. In the summer of 2002
his first 12” single with DJ Syntax, ‘Prototype’ was
    released on Futuredrumsound Recordings.

His recent ventures into keyboard stylings have
developed into another release. His second single,
’Sherpa/ Starlight’ on Stereosystem Recordings, in
collaboration with DJ Harp. He plans to join forces
with local artists in the Los Angeles area and is set
to detonate several contagious releases in the near
    future.
