Lonnie Liston Smith and his music have exerted a great deal of influence on me personally and
on the evolution of the internet resources here on Soul-Patrol.
Many of you will remember is hypnotic, inspirational, funky & afrocentric music from back in
the 1970's, both as a member of the 1970's Miles Davis Band and then later as a hitmaking solo
artist.
I will always remember the inspirational message of:

Inspirational indeed for me both as a teenaged college student, who thought that he knew
