After the sad demise of MP3.com the first tranche of material by The
Chilling Fields is now available again at Download.com:
    http://music.download.com/thechillingfields/3600-8502_32-100171564.html

Quality is excellent at 192k and so are download speeds.

Three of the items ('After The Rain', 'Blue Thing' and 'A Break In The
Clouds') explore the interface between ambient electronica and
cocktail jazz beats that has fascinated me for a while now. 'After The
Rain', 'Asakusa' and 'A Break In The Clouds' are all actually excerpted
from a continuous 57 minute piece for which I'm currently seeking a
    suitable label for CD release.

'Asakusa' and 'Palindrome' are more conventionally ambient
items of diminished interest from a jazz perspective, the latter
deploying some processed samples of the Eastern Orthodox Mass as
    performed in Sofia.

Please note, any of the pieces at
    http://music.download.com/thechillingfields/3600-8502_32-100171564.html
are fully available and hereby cleared for inclusion in radio playlists,
although I would appreciate notification at
    chillingfields_at_gacoc.demon.co.uk
as a courtesy if anybody wants to spread the word.

Thanks for your patience, and I hope you get some enjoyment from this
    harmlessly unusual music.
