OK, so I was really looking forward to this one...and then I listened to the
whole thing today. Anyone else as disappointed as I am? I mean, I wasn't
expecting to hear "Download This, Part 2", but the whole album sounds like
just another generic new soul album, with only a couple of tracks keeping
the entire album from sinking. Not one track really hit me as anything
special. I'll give it a few more listens, but I'm not too hopeful.
On the other hand, the new Clara Hill and Quant albums made me quite happy.
And Beanfield's "Seek"...wow.
