It's rare that I chime in but I wanted to recognize
these two -- obviously -- varying LPs. Picked them up
recently and both fantastic in their own ways.

Natalie Gardiner's self-titled is out on the RMJC
label. Love the way Ramjac's sparse rhythms set
perfectly against her very stylee vocals. Read some
articles where Natalie, who lives in Stockholm, said
she's been influenced by Sade and Anita Baker. You
can feel it on the album. Nice mood music for sure.
I'm interested to see what RMJC comes out with in the
future. Anyone know anything about Ramjac?

The Plant Life disc I'm a little behind on -- but wow!
Comparisons abound to Outkast and Prince. For me,
it's just refreshing to see some heads put themeselves
out there and really go for the gusto. This one will
not be leaving my changer for a while. The LP has me
interested in hunting down some of the Animal Pharm
stuff -- any comparisons? Also, anyone know anything
    about the vocalist, Jack Splash?
