Nice topic Steve! I seems that last years CD sales slump was mainly due to
folk spending their home-ent' cash on DVD and _not_ due to pirated downloads!

    *coughs: CDs are digital.

    1. Yes (a few tracks, unavailable for purchase, in a med-volume bar environment).
Not sure what resolution these were at, but quantization-noise's apparent,
when played on hi-fi equipment. I've not formed an opinion on "min-resolution"
for a club, but I'd be more likely to use only part of a track, within a mix,
       with a quality recording.

    2. 1% vinyl, 99% CD, 0% download.

    3. B (Laptop with Yamaha/Harmon-Kardon sound. Mainly used for Internet radio.)

and tell everyone that Napster was doomed because no one wanted
lossily compressed MP3s with no liner notes and truncated files
and misspelled metadata." - Cory Doctorow http://ChangeThis.Com/4.DRM
