    Very sad. I just finished reading a great book called
    "Spinning Blues Into Gold" by Nadine Cohonas, about
    the rise and fall of Chess Records, where Louis
    Satterfield was mentioned a number of times. It
    talked about the many contributions Satterfield did
    for the music of Chess from the mid-60's up until the
    sale to GTR, and by that time Maurice White had
    already formed The Salty Peppers, which of course
    would lead to EW&F.
