    NEWS
Well, well, well....high time I'm back yes? I've actually gone through
two new shows since my return to Miami, but there's been quite a bit
going on so things weren't exactly smooth saling. More in a bit.
First, you can find all the info you need for the two post-Miami shows.
Urban Landscapes Radioshow 8.12 and 8.13. You can also check out my
    picks for April, also below.
    MIAMI
My second visit to sunny Miami didn't turned out that bad. For the most
part, it's been fun. It was cool to catch up with people old and new,
as well as dope DJ and live performances all over the place.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to catch everyone that I've wanted to
meet, but that's how it goes.
I've taken quite a number of pictures, which I'm happy to say are now
available. To view them, go ahead and visit
http://www.urbanlandscapes.org/gallery. Check the top navigation bar,
because you can choose to have the pics do the slideshow thingie. Easy,
me hopes! Big shouts to Micah, once again, for finding this dandy tool.
On the last night of Miami, I was stricken with a bug that had worsened
over a period of a few days--lasting over a week. On top of all of
that, I was busy moving and cleaning. I'm moved for the moment, and I'm
happy to say that I'm nearing full recovery.
You'll have to excuse me as I'm a bit behind on everything from music
feedback to prepping my chart to contacting all the peeps I've met in
Miami. I'm slowly but surely working on it.
    MIAMI SHOUTS...
...must go to Jessica from SPECTRE, Garo from Rooftop Promotions, Nate
from Lift Promotions (though only seen Eric while there), Tom from
Switchstance, Rusty from the All Good Funk Alliance, Nate from the
First Floor Brothers, Vicci from On Point, Daniel Best from Sonar
Kollektiv, Luke from Sunny Side Up, Nick from Best Kept Secret, Missy
from Re:Up, and Miche from Canada among others.
Big thanks also goes to those who weren't there, including Tomas from
XLR8R, Adam from Giant Step, Eric from Lift, and Matthhias from Sonar
    Kollektiv.
Those not on the UL list that need props include Orin & Daz from the
Bugz crew, Juergen from Jazzanova, Louie Vega from Masters at Work, and
    Peter Kruder.
Most of all, I'd like to thank Christina and Greg from Citrona. Cool
peeps, and they know how cool they are.
Oh, and sorry to have missed you Cynthia. We'll have to meet up at some
other point on the time horizon.
THE URBAN LANDSCAPES GUESTMIX PRESENTS: INTUIT
Last week's Urban Landscapes Guestmix came from the duo known as
Intuit. One of Compost Records' oldest acts, Intuit dropped its debut
album last year. They've recently put together a new mix, and you can
listen to it as part of last week's broadcast.

    CHANGES WITH KCPR'S LIVE STREAM
As of this week, we've decided to bump up the quality of KCPR's live
stream. With it comes some changes in the requirements in order to
listen to us. From what I've heard via the DJs at the station who have
listened, the sound is much better.
So in order to listen to us, you'll need either the RealPlayer 10
    (Windows/Mac/Linux) or Quicktime 6.x (Windows/Mac). You'll then need to
access the following location to pick up our live stream:
    rtsp://129.65.35.106:8000/stream.sdp
This should work out for you, me hopes....happy listening! Send me
email, by the way, to let me know your thoughts on the sound quality.
    FIN
Now that you've digested all of this, it's time for you to enjoy your
weekend. I will enjoy mine, however busy it'll be. Stay cool.
