STYLIN - Rare grooves, hi-tech jazz and other worldly fusions
Friday afternoons 12-2pm RRR 102.7FM, Melbourne (GMT +11)
Live online - http://www.rrr.org.au (see below for global times)
    Archived online thanks to http://www.quantumlounge.net

    Hello all

Stylin 190 is now online to check out on Quantum Lounge:
    http://www.quantumlounge.net/misc/sound/radio/stylin/stylin.m3u

We had Andy Mitchell and Zen from the legendary Wellington radio show, the Jewel School, a while back, this time it was Martin Kwok. As always, these guys represent their local sounds, so Martin had lots of great NZ tunes for us including some sneaky blends like Fat Freddys v Outkast! Check out the Jewel School on Radio Active 89FM in Wellington, Saturdays 7-9pm NZ time.

Also in for the show was Sydney DJ and producer Crucial D. Since the mid-90s he's been producing music as part of Wicked Beats Sound System, but is now stepping out with more solo productions which he was putting the finishing touches to in Melbourne last week. Catch him playing at Longrain and other venues around Sydney. One of his tracks also features alongside my remix of Cubano Chant on the Longrain 2 compilation album.

Next show I'll be joined by two of the visitors to Melbourne for the coming long weekend: Shuya Okina from Kyoto Jazz Massive who plays Revolver on Sunday night, and Katalyst from Sydney who plays the Prince on Friday alongside Guru and the Bamboos.

    until then
    Ennio Styles
