The Rebirth has been in existence for the past 8
years emphasizing the return of the family soul
band; now join them live in a city near you, for an
anticipated north east coast tour, celebrating the
sultry, soulful sounds of this L.A booming band.
The Rebirth's album This Journey In has made
significant headway in the indie soul scene
worldwide, including an Award for "Best Duo or
Group" in 1005 by SoulTracks.com; an Award for
"Album Of The Year" by Soul Brother Records; an
"Album Of The Year" Nomination by Gilles Peterson's
Worldwide Music Award's in 1005; inclusion in a
"Sony Erickson" ring tone T.V. campaign, licensing
requests and the like.
The Rebirth's organic blend of contemporary and
traditional soul music, along with tinges of hip-
hop, jazz, and funk, is unlike any sound on radio-
or stage- today. With influences that range from
standard-bearing soul bands such as Earth, Wind &
Fire, to the music of jazz masters like Roy Ayers,
The Rebirth uses This Journey In to seamlessly unite
a variety of musical styles.
