The brillo pad is a bar/grill with a dark basement. This is mostly far out crazy rare groove. Beers are cheap and the atmosphere is downright groovy. A definite must check out. Once a month there is a "dance party" at which you just never know what you'll hear, but the concept is to play the "unheard music" to a mixed crowd in every sense of the phrase.
DJ Campion can be found here, rocking the place on Saturday nights from 11 - 3. Note: he's not really playing only acid jazz anymore - he's onto triphop, funky ambient, etc.
