23rd Year. Europe's Friendliest Festival. 700 musicians from 25 countries, 50 clubs,pubs and fringe venues all within walking distance. Last year's line up included plenty of new wave jazz artists such as Courtney Pine, Roy Ayers, Jasid, Goridiano and other jazz greats like Elvin Jones. Loads of Guinness, loads of Jazz what more could you ask for ?

Cork Soul& Disco Festival

In September. Djs everywhere playing Acid Jazz, Soul, Funk, Deep House( a Cork speciality! ), Hip-Hop, rare-grooves and jazz. Live acts such as Jungle Brothers, Da Firin' Squad, Groove Armada & Galactic Disco as well every DJ from every label: Grand Central to Blue Note bring thousands to the city ever year.

DJs playing Funk, Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz and latin tunes in the Main Room and live Jazz, Acid Jazz or Soul in the Green Room with local favourites Sexual Chocolate, The Defenders, Spondoolix and many more. Main Room on Saturdays in worth mentioning as it hosts 'Sweat' the longest running house night in Europe. Shane Johnson & Greg Dowling (aka FishGoDeep) have recently signed a deal with i-records in New Jersey and continue into their twelfth year as residents churning out deep, groovy house music to the noisiest and friendliest crowd ever ! Anyone who is anyone in Deep House has played there. A place to visit as a tourist if anothing else. 10pm -3am.
