The Chameleon Urban Lounge

Here in Vancouver there ia a myriad of acid jazz and lounge clubs. My personal favorite is The Chameleon Urban Lounge, my buddy Seren has feature artists and bands performing regularily at the club, as well as theme nights ie; Rumba Calzada, this monday night line up features steaming hot latin acid jazz, with grooves so hot Sugar Mountain turns to liquid glucose. Then there is Oo La La with a divine hostess spinning vinyl that would make your pelvis swivel like bar stool on fire.

The Red Lounge

The Red Lounge { now known as R } features Hip Hop, Smooth Lounge Jazz, Killer Acid Jazz being served up by guest DJ's from around the globe.

Blue Lizard Cocktail Club

The Blue Lizard Cocktail Club at The palatial Polynesian Lounge in the Waldorf Hotel is a bi-monthly true retro lounge event. Featuring three theme rooms; upstairs you will find live jazz, downstairs at the mainstage you will be entertained by a stunning and eclectic array of live performers from Beatnick to Cheesey lounge singers, and finally the third stage features a ballroom setting with retro lounge and dance tunes ranging from the 50's to the 70's.

Purple Onion

The Purple Onion is the newest addition to the acid jazz club scene in Vancouver. The Onion features live jazz and as you venture to the back of the club you wil find yourself in soft chairs soaking in high fidelity martini's and music.
