Irma puts out some great old funk stuff too. I actually buy everything this
label puts out, but volumes 1 and 2 of "Groovy: A Collection of Rare Jazzy
Club Tracks", are both sweet.

Right Tempo also puts out some great compilations of old cheesy funk on the
Easy Tempo series.

Ditto for the Sound Gallery series on Sequel in the States (I don't know
what label they were released on elsewhere - BMG maybe).

Muse puts out the Deep Funk series. I think they are up through 6 now. I
have 1-3 and they are decent.

CTI just put out the budget priced "The Birth Of The Groove" which is a
scorcher.

Instinct puts out the Original Raw Soul series that are excellent in a JB's
sort of way.
