goldie's new one

hey

well let me tell you temper temper is a good indication of where this
album is headed--straight to the toilet. I've listened to a copy of the
new goldie album and it is my prediction that this guy is about to become
the laughing stock of the industry. This album is utterly horrible. Track
one (and cd one) is "Mother", the 60 minute "orchestral" number, which is
ridiculous. 25 minutes of the same line repeated ad nauseum and goldie's
horrible voice (rob playford was right to plug up his ears!!) wailing
over it, all leading up to about 15 minutes of drumnbass, followed by
another 20 minutes of strings again, boring as the first time.

CD two is simply nothing special. all the beats are boring and generic
and nothing to cheer about at all.

my advice is to find a free copy of this album, listen to it, and read as
many articles with goldie (starting with the newest raygun) while you
listen. It's a fun experience to read all his arrogant hype and listen to
the horrendous mess at the same time.
