This past Saturday, I attended the NYC PSEUDO broadcast
of the Earthdance 98 party, benefit for the Dalai Lama.
There were broadcasts from all over:
Tokyo, Paris, Argentina, Seattle, London, Philadelphia.

Check out: http://pseudo.com/streetsound/earthdance98

( Did you have fun, Cormac ? )
There was also a very bizarre "performance art" sequence
by the founder of PSEUDO, Josh-something
as Lovey the Clown.

I won't go into it, but I'm sure it's archived somewhere.

Afterwards, I was supposed to shake my ghetto-booty
with DJ Funk at TUNNEL, but opted to go home
and pass out instead.

( At least for 2 hours on the PSEUDO couches,
  heh heh ... right, Roland ? )

Has anyone caught David Byrne and band
at the Knitting Factory? Is it worth the $25 for tix?

Congrats Christopher Columbus,
for perpetuating your urban white myth
till today,
( !Namaste! )
Yvonne.

WEIRD DANCING IN ALL-NIGHT computer-banking lobbies.
Unauthorized pyrotechnic displays.
Land-art, earthworks as bizarre alien artifacts strewn in State Parks.
Burglarize houses but instead of stealing,
leave Poetic-Terrorist objects.
Kidnap someone & make them happy.

Pick someone at random & convince them they're the heir
to an enormous, useless & amazing fortune -
say 5000 square miles of Antarctica, or an aging circus elephant,
or an orphanage in Bombay, or a collection of
alchemical mss. Later they will come to realize
that for a few moments they believed in something
extraordinary, & will perhaps be driven as a result
to seek out some more intense mode of existence.

Ontological Anarchism, Poetic Terrorism
