yo, thanks to whomever it was (herb?) that gave the recommendation for the
ReBirth virtual 303/303/808 console. It's great! Once I get a better idea of
how I can sync it to my gear I'll probably buy the thing. I've never used one
of those machines in real life before so it's interesting to see and use the
pattern creation method, it's different than what I'm accumstomed to and I
like it. A different way to visualize beats (than Performer's display of
sequenced MIDI data) that corresponds more directly with written music. And I
was playing with it at work through the internal speaker of a Mac, I can't
wait to bring it home and hook it up to my monitors to see what happens!!!
OK, back to the grind, just had to air that one because I had a very happy
temporary diversion......
