She sings on "Broken" & "Wrapped Up" on the _Infinite Syndrome_ album. I
like the stuff w/her best, but overall it's def. a pretty strong album.
The song "Wrapped Up" was made into a maxi-single, so she's all over that,
obviously.
Uh-oh-- how much d&b is on the Terra Deva record? I really can't stand d&b
(reminds me more of flourescent lighting than something I'd want to dance
to) unless it's used *very* sparingly as icing over a solid body beat. If
I fucking want something self-proclaimedly "intelligent" I'll, uh, buy a
prog record, for crissakes.
Did anyone catch the interview w/Money Mark where he slams the "fast music"
he heard all over the place (office muzak, clubs, dentist's waiting
lounges) in Britain? He recorded a lampoon of it on _Push the Button_, &
wants to make a video where a music listener puts on that song, then a crew
of amped-up freaks break in, tie him to his chair, & proceed to clean his
house at superspeed. Considering that that quarter-assed Beasties
infomercial got released, I sure hope that video sees the light of day!
Of course, "speed" is really the key word here, innit?
