if i'm matching names right, both ish and lady mecca are working with the
brooklyn dub collective, under the name trumystic sound system. this is the
group that dr. israel, whose work is a mix of dub, d'n'b, hip-hop, and rock,
currently fronts. the collective recently was featured in a village voice
article. it mentions people called ish and lady mecca who are part of the
group, but doesn't bother to mention if theyh are the same ish and lady
mecca that were part of digable planets.... although i find it a little too
coincidental for them not to be the same ish and lady mecca.

there's a link up for it on the back issues section of www.villagevoice.com,
but i can't seem to load it for some reason.

we start with the recognition that the
history/theory distinction is meaningless
(mere propaganda), as every historiography
rests on an implicit theory and every
theory is imbedded in a historical site.
