Great question! Dang I love this list. It might be a little hard to track, and a little irritating, but Tom Browne (of "Jamaica Funk" fame) had an album titled "Tommy Gun" and its entire theme fits squarely in what you're looking for. Most of it is funk-dance oriented but there might be one or two tunes worth checking out.

While I'm here: Many's the time I'm reading posts and appreciating all of the contributors and their comments. I've jumped on countless list recommendations that I'd have otherwise slept on so thanks to everyone who takes a moment to share their thoughts. Mark, you still got that gig at Fuel?
