can't stand to play something i'm not feeling. even good songs i've
grown tired of drive me nuts to play. the funny thing is i can listen
to another dj play the same song and it won't bother me. there's
something about being behind turntables and feeling forced to play a
song people want to hear regardless of my opinion. makes my skin crawl
to imagine that. there's nothing like inside jokes for the regulars
though. thats how i got into the rumpshaker beat.
sometimes response songs are fun to play.
it seems to me that i wouldn't own a record if i didn't see playing it
at some point. i can't see owning something i didn't like either.
hell, i get rid of records i do like.
