Sorry for bothering the rest of the list, but I wanted to reach out
to all the folks on the list who DJ club scenes and radio shows...as
many of you know I am the manager of Legendary Jazz Drummer and
Bandleader Chico Hamilton, and our new label Koch Jazz, who have
recently released Chico's debut recording FORESTSTORN, is interested
in servicing any interested DJ's with Chico's new CD...Koch is not
typically a label which reaches out in this manner beyond the scope
of what the Radio Promotions folks at Coast to Coast are handling,
but as FORESTSTORN has been receiving RAVE reviews from ALL quarters,
and is now #14 on the Yellow Dog Jazz Chart (which replaced the Gavin
Jazz Chart about a month ago), they are looking to expand the reach
of Chico's album beyong the "typical" jazz audience...meaning to a
younger and hipper audience...so if any of the DJ's on the list are
interested in being serviced on a album featuring jazz & latin &
blues & funk grooves from a JAZZ MASTER, please contact me OFF LIST
