Can anyone give me a tracklisting for the new DJ Shadow? I'd like to be
know the names of what I'm listening to.
My friend described the new album this way: "The way it sounds, it could
easily have been released on Mo'Wax, Ninja Tune, or Warp Records." And upon
listening, that sounds about right. Still very lush with top notch drum
programming. And the man knows how to make things groove. And there are
some very cool moments where it sounds like electro and house.
The track where he phrases together, "I'm a bad muthaphukin' DJ/ this is why
I walk and talk this way" is dope.
I don't know how I feel about the little interludes (I guess that's what
they are) where he plays records of different people reading letters to
their loved ones.
The verdict is still out, but so far, so good. Very good actually.
