    This is just one way for the powers that be to make sure that nobody has a
    voice unless they have money and make a profit. I would hope that if all
    this goes down then they make some provision for an "amateur's license" for
    non-commerical hobbyists, but I'm sure that's not even a snowball's chance
    in hell

    exactly, does it apply to? Stations whose CEO is an American citizen?

    hosted in the US? Is there a way to just take the stations offshore? Of
    course, at that point, then t-bird's take on it becomes that much more
    likely.
