By far my favorite radio station in NYC is WBAI 99.5. They have great shows
like Liquid Sound Lounge 6-9pm Sat. (Acid-Jazz/Jazzy House) and Underground
Railroad 12mid-3 Sun. (The Best In Underground Hip-Hop). They also are a
good source for alternative (REAL!!) news if your in to the radical/activist
thing. You might also want to check WBGO 88.3 out of Newark, NJ which is
more of a straight jazz station but has some really good soul, motown, and
rare groove spots. Last 89.9 has a kickin rare groove show on Saturdays
from 1-4pm.

reliable listing of local shows and parites Big and Small.
